Factual stuff about money isn’t in short supply. If young people want to find out more about basic bank accounts or how to budget, there’s shedloads of wesbites and tools.
The money made clear website of the Financial Services Authority is a very good beginning—impartial and reliable. And that’s only a start.
I’m reluctant to add to the supply. There is a much more urgent need to focus on skills and attitudes, rather than knowledge as such. Even so, I did get persuaded to write a few brief guides to some key areas of youth money.
Maybe calling them briefings is a bit grandiose. They’re just designed to be clear and short, helpful not overwhelming.
